J-Tech is a new company, which has been formed for the sole purpose of commercially developing and introducing John Allen's hitherto undisclosed technologies, to which J-Tech has acquired the exclusive rights. John will be serving as our technical director, and is very much involved with the practical aspects of taking his prototypes into their commercial phases. Our first product is to be a 'Fuel Enhancement Device' (to be marketed as the 'Fuel Cracker') which has been independently demonstrated (with absolute scientific credibility) to increase MPG regular gasoline engine vehicles by 15% (low pressure carburetted, or indirect injection) up to 20% (High pressure, direct injection). Those of you who have laughed at John's claims of being able to get his VLB engine up to 20,000 RPM on regular pump fuel, are about to be de-smirked. You see, the original cracker was designed to modify the VLB's fuel so that it ignited more readily and burned significantly more quickly, in order to achieve the high flywheel speeds, and if you are the expert that you think you are, you will know that early and more rapid combustion (during the lower entropy period) not only facilitates higher RPM, it also means that more energy is extracted from the reaction, which even to us laymen, clearly also means more MPG - even with regular engine vehicles. In theory, the cracker should also provide a similar benefit to diesel engines, and we shall be setting up test facilities as soon as time permits. There are a number of other 'held secret' devices that can be advantageously brought to the conventional engine (and other) markets, and we shall be following up on these in due course. It is unlikely that we shall be redeveloping the VLB engine itself, such large-scale work being best left to those with the requisite extensive facilities. Indeed, we are aware of some progress in this direction. Of course, everything that John has published on the original site was deliberately put into the public domain, so anyone wishing assistance from John, so long as that it does not conflict with J-Tech's rights, only has to ask. Although this website has undergone significant redevelopment, we have retained John's basic approach to its construction. That is to say, it is essentially an “information” site, and as such, ease of navigation, access speed and properly printable pages, have been the priority. We do not wish to retain copyright on any of the material, so please feel free. FOOTNOTE: The directors of, and principle investors in J-Tech, have known John Allen for many years, and probably would have become involved with this venture anyway, but the most significant reason for our enthusiasm lies in the fact that just about everything that John wrote up about developing engine technology in 1992, has either since been backed up by independent and unrelated research and development programs (mostly by major engine companies) or has yet to be examined. We can find nothing in John's write-ups (including his criticisms of several other 'development' engines, which failed to meet their objectives) that has been disproved, or even found wanting in their precision. Interestingly, he has answers to some problems that have been reported as reasons not to continue with development programs, possibly more for political than scientific reasons?
